One last goodbye...

So Dimebag would have been 39 on saturday... My buddy nate calls me up and tells me to watch this video on Zakk wylde's website calle d"in this river"... i cried... again...

We miss ya Dime... not that yer really gone...

Saw someone saturday wearing a Pantera shirt... it had to have been brand new... had pics of Dime all over it. It's a memory i refuse to let die... I know i should probably be mourning 9-11 more than Dimebag... and don't get me wrong... i cried the day 9-11 happened... but this is alot more personal for me... i didn't lose anyone in the attacks 4 years ago... i have a hard time staying connected to it years later... But Dimebag was one of my heroes... he stood for everything I believe in...Integrity, generosity, Skill, dedication, and the will power to make something of it...I don't think anyone understands the kind of influence he had on me...what hsi music meant to me, or how it affected me the night i turned off my Damageplan CD, switched to the radio... and heard that the legend i had just seen in person 2 weeks before, was dead.
